In today’s busy world, stress, toxins, and daily wear can leave you feeling sluggish, heavy and “off.” That’s where my restorative, hands-on healing work comes in. At my Kaimuki wellness studio in Honolulu, Oahu, I use gentle yet powerful techniques to help your body reset its natural rhythm—so you can feel lighter, clearer and more in tune with yourself. One of my most loved services for deep cleansing and renewal is my Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)… "After my session, I asked her - are you supposed to feel this good? My body was so satisfied. I can't explain it but I felt so good!" – Client Nancy N., Honolulu, Hawaii How MLD Can Support You
“My right leg instantly felt lighter—like my system turned back on.” – Client Kriscee P. [Kahuku, HI] Common Reasons Clients Choose MLD
Note: My MLD sessions are not to treat lymphedema. “After my breast reduction surgery, Stacy’s lymphatic drainage has been essential to my healing. The swelling has gone down, and my surgery sites are healing beautifully.” – Client Esther C., Kailua, HI Manual [Hands-On] Lymphatic Drainage
Gentle Healing Touch for a Lighter Healthier You Your Lymphatic System: The Body’s Hidden Spiderweb Imagine your lymphatic system as a delicate, intricate spiderweb reaching every corner of your body—working 24/7 to carry away waste, toxins, and excess fluid. My Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) session in Kaimuki | Honolulu is a gentle, full-body technique that supports this vital system from head to toe, front and back, fingers and toes included. No tools are used. I perform MLD entirely with my hands—hence the word “manual.” Now, imagine feeling lighter, clearer and more energized—like your entire body has had a fresh reset. That’s the magic of MLD. “She’s incredibly knowledgeable, and the treatment was so gentle and effective. It helps your body flush out toxins, reduce swelling, and support your immune system. I felt lighter and refreshed afterward.” – Client Liz Uehara, Hawaii Kai, HI |
Not a Massage — and Why That Matters
This is not deep tissue massage. In fact, heavy pressure can actually slow lymph flow. MLD uses light, rhythmic touch to work in harmony with your body’s natural healing system, guiding lymph fluid toward your lymph nodes where it’s filtered and cleansed. If your pathways are sluggish or blocked, this technique can help open new routes for fluid to move more freely. “My Lymphatic Drainage session with Stacy was exactly what I needed! Stacy is amazing—she explained everything so well and made me feel so great afterwards...like I was floating.” – Client Mary P., Honolulu, HI How Manual Lymphatic Drainage Works Because lymphatic vessels have no pump of their own, fluid can sometimes stagnate—especially after stress, illness, surgery, or simply the demands of daily life. With my skilled nurturing hands, I help reawaken sluggish lymph nodes, encourage healthy circulation, and give your immune system a supportive boost so it filters and works at its best. The result? A deep, cleansing effect that helps release toxins, reduce puffiness, calm your nervous system and restore balance from the inside out. “Best lymphatic drainage — relaxing, detoxifying, and like being treated by an angel. I get MLD done by Stacy every time I visit Oahu - 1 to 2x a year. ” – Client Alessana Fordin, Portland, OR Session & Pricing:
“After two sessions, I had more energy for days and could feel things draining and clearing.” – Client Leigh K., Pearl City, HI |
The Experience of Manual Lymphatic Drainage: |
As a Hawaii Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT MAT 15304), I perform Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) entirely with my hands - No tools - hence the word “manual.”
Unlike deep tissue or heavy-pressure massage, MLD uses an extremely light, feather-like touch—even gentler than Swedish massage. This is intentional. Your lymph vessels sit just beneath the surface of your skin and above your muscles. A delicate touch is the most effective way to guide lymph fluid toward your lymph nodes without disrupting its natural flow. Too much pressure can actually stop the fluid from moving. What to expect:
